NOWork, NEWork, NETwork: A Fresh Look at Optimizing Talent Capability

I’m often asked:
- “How do I optimize our talent management processes to minimize the administrative and really focus on the people?”
- “What are the best things to do to build a successful career?”
- “How do I make my career transition as effective and efficient as possible?"
There is no magic bullet, no single answer for any of these questions. There are however common treads that if all well done, may add up to great success.
The NOWork, NEWork, NETwork approach is a new way to look at talent management. One that can help organizations, individuals, and those in career transition cut through the questions, overcome concerns, and get focused on the essential elements that truly do help optimize their capabilities and improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Participants will leave with a new perspective on how to answer all three questions and how to optimize success today, set themselves and their organizations up for success in the future, and how to consider networking as a key element of success – because as we all know – without a solid "NETwork", great "NOWwork" and "NEWwork" goes un-noticed.

Speaker Bio:
Bill is President & Chief Advisor of Kieffer & Associates LTD, an advisory firm specializing in military veteran career transition, executive coaching, strategic talent management, and professional speaking/facilitation.
He is a senior Human Resources Executive with over 20 years experience in multi-billion dollar, global organizations. Bill led organizational efforts to establish and anchor best practices that successfully plan for, acquire, assign, develop, and performance-manage talent capability that achieves business objectives.
Bill is also a former U.S Army officer with nearly 12 years active service in a variety of command and staff positions. He is a combat veteran of Somalia. While in the Army, Bill earned numerous awards and decorations including being selected as the US Army Logistics Management College “Instructor of the Year”.
Bill’s education includes:
- the Strategic Human Resources Program at Harvard Business School
- the Leadership Education Program at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
- a Master of Science Administration degree from Central Michigan University
- a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Toledo
Bill is a certified “Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coach”, previously earned the “Senior Professional Human Resources” certification, and has completed all steps necessary for SHRM’s “Veterans at Work” certification.
Bill has twice been elected as a village councilman in his home town, and is active in a variety of veteran service organizations.
