In this collaborative discussion, session attendees will first be treated to (1) tips and tools to use when approaching LinkedIn as a search engine and (2) overlooked platform features. Following the introductory overview, session attendees are invited to share their specific use-cases or ask general questions to obtain insights from a LinkedIn-vetted service provider.



Objectives:


1. List strategies for maximizing LinkedIn as a search engine

2. Demonstrate how to use often overlooked LinkedIn features to generate leads

Speaker Bio:

Craig Engstrom, Ph.D. is an associate professor of business communication and persuasion at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC). His research focuses on persuasion in professional communication, organizations, and training. He is a communication and career coach for Communication@Work LLC and a Certified Professional in Talent Development. He is a vetted Career Expert Program vendor for LinkedIn.
