Collective resilience is a team’s ability to prepare for, grow, adapt and move forward through any adverse event, such as a crisis or disaster.
Research from the Journal of Applied Communication Research found that “community resilience is exhibited by adaptation following an event, but resilient communities are also able to anticipate and plan for events before they occur.”
Resilient communities, organizations, and teams CAN plan for change and challenges by developing skills together, as a collectively resilient unit. One way to affect resilient change is to first educate your leaders and then continue development within your organization.
